I was pleasantly surprised and yet quite annoyed when recently I remembered I haven’t touched this website, therefore the blog, in a very long time (years, to be more specific).

About the issues that society faces much has been written and will continue to be. But about the courage of finding solutions and implementing them there is still a lot to be told.
Some time ago I’ve had a lovely conversation on the power and determination to change misconceptions and old-fashioned systems that no longer benefit society entirely, but instead have massive gaps. And during the discussion one nice example arouse: Plan Zheroes.
About 2 months ago the idea of having a LEGO Serious Play workshop at Made in Brunel as part of the Masters’ events arose. It seemed a bit of a challenge but one not to be left aside. And this is how the chase in planning and organizing the event started. I admit it was not an easy task. The result? The images speak for themselves.
It’s about one more week left until yet another exciting edition of Made in Brunel. This year it’s all about the journeys of people and projects.
The schedule sounds very promising already with some great names being revealed for the Pecha Kucha evening, an ‘innovation lunch’, design & brand visions & talks, creative screenings and an alumni party.
Last week I had the lovely chance to be part in a one day exploration of the inter-relationship of Brands and the Digital Economy at Horizon Digital Brand Jam @ Brunel.
From the very morning the room was filled by the buzz of people arriving and enjoying a chat and a coffee. And what an amazing crowd: brand experts, academic representative from renowned universities, business experts, digital media experts, as well as Brunel design, branding & innovation students acting as facilitators to the workshop.
This is the first thing that you notice once you reach their office in London. A bit hidden from the street noise the cosy location seems welcoming from the very start. And it proves to be like this until the last moment of your staying.
